Director General of Health Dr Ashley Bloomfield lead an impressive panel of speakers at the NZ Medical Association Doctors in Training Council Trainee Forum recently.
Dr Bloomfield shared with attendees at the May 8 event the values that had guided him through his career, and in managing the COVID-19 pandemic.
He also took questions from the floor about the response to COVID-19, and the upcoming health sector reform.
Dr Bloomfield’s attendance was warmly appreciated by everyone at the forum.
Other speakers at the forum included Anna Clark, Deputy Director General Health Workforce; Dr John Bonning, Council of Medical Colleges Chair; Dr Stephen Child, Southern Cross; and Lynda Taylor, from NZMA Financial Services.
NZMA extends its thanks to all speakers for their insights and advice.
