What a great turnout it was at Rotorua with over 1200 delegates! Our thanks to the creator Chappie and to Leon Olsen and his team at Conference Matters along with all the sponsors who make the event possible. There were workshops, meetings and presentations to meet every need and it was wonderful to talk with so many of you again and meet many new faces. Thank you for being a part of the NZMA.
Friday's NZMA Forum kicked off with your NZMA Chair, Dr Kate Baddock. The Peter Foley Memorial oration was given by William Ferguson talking on genomics and precision medicine. This was followed by the Minister of Health Hon Dr David Clark who was listening in on Facebook as the forum was live streamed. You can view the Minister's address here.
This was followed by Cuisine Medicine and Big Data - Useful or Useless in Health and we hope to have video clips of these sessions soon should you be interested.

On Saturday night there was a conference dinner and attendees were treated to the skills of Marcus Winter (sandman and artist extraordinaire) with many ooohhhss and ahhhhs and laughter.
We have two pieces of art by Marcus with the proceeds going to the worthwhile charity New Zealand Organisation for Rare Disorders (NZORD). You can view them on the Trade Me Auctions here and here and bid singly. Each one will look fabulous in your practice, office or home.
