Member advisory service
As a member of the NZMA you have access to advice and assistance on a variety of issues, ranging from employment issues to running your practice. Telephone and email advice is available to you, and is free of charge: phone 0800 65 61 61.
Articles, information and various sample employment agreements and contracts have been developed for members and are available online by using your NZMA membership login.

The NZMA advisory service can assist you with any employment issues, if you are an employer, an employee or an independent contractor.
The advisory service also has a wide range of information on medical records and confidentiality. We can answer questions about disclosure of medical records in certain situations, and the obligations on staff and doctors regarding medical records.
