Consultant Psychiatrist/Lead Clinician Taylor Centre Community Mental Health Service Taylor Centre is one of four integrated Mental Health Centres which provide acute assessment and treatment for clients with serious mental illness and severe psychological disorders. We are seeking a Psychiatrist for a full-time position to join our multi-disciplinary team which provides a range of community mental health treatment options to the adult population living in the central region of greater Auckland. You will work within the Assertive Community Outreach Service and continuing treatment sub-team while working collaboratively with the primary health sector. You will be responsible for your own caseload and also provide medical input to the rest of the multi-disciplinary team. This position includes the Lead Clinician role for the service (0.2 FTE) and is an opportunity to advance your own practice and be involved in on-going professional development and supervision. You will also be required to participate in the on-call Psychiatrist roster. You must have basic computer skills and a clean New Zealand driver’s licence. You must also be eligible for vocational registration with the Medical
