GERIATRICIAN

A+ LINKS, HOME AND OLDER PEOPLE'S HEALTH
Auckland District Health Board

Located in the upper North Island, Auckland is home to almost 1.2 million people, which represents a third of New Zealand's total population and is the fastest growing area in the country. A coastal city set amidst beautiful harbours, Auckland is a perfect blend of sophisticated city living and outdoor beauty that makes it one of the most desirable destinations in the world. No wonder that it has been voted the fifth best city to live in the world!

We are seeking a Geriatrician for a full-time position.
A+ Links is an expanding service providing assessment, treatment and rehabilitation services for patients over 65 years and community based healthcare services. The service is spread over two sites with inpatient services based at Auckland City Hospital while community services are based at the Greenlane Clinical Centre.

There is potential for a part-time position shared with either General Medicine or the Rehabilitation service for younger adults for those with dual training.

The successful applicant must hold or be eligible for registration as a specialist with the Medical Council of New Zealand and have appropriate post graduate qualifications (FRACP) and relevant training in care of older people.

If you enjoy working with older people, and are looking for flexible and innovative opportunities to challenge and extend your practice within a clinical specialty and multi-disciplinary setting, we would like to hear from you.

For further information, please contact Dr Hilary Birch, Clinical Director A+Links, email: hilaryb@adhb.govt.nz phone: 0064 9 358 0825 ext. 48676 or mobile 0064 21 348 420.
