Paediatric Gastroenterologist/Hepatologist

Starship Children's Health, New Zealand

Starship Children's Health serves a paediatric population in New Zealand of over 2 million. The paediatric gastroenterology and hepatology department provides a national tertiary referral service for varied and complex cases like (such as) inflammatory bowel disease, intestinal failure and chronic liver disease among others and performs approximately 7-8 liver transplants a year. It also provides an inpatient intravenous nutrition service.

Ideally, you would have gastroenterology and hepatology experience and are well versed in endoscopic procedures.

You should hold an FRACP in Paediatric Gastroenterology or equivalent and should also be eligible for specialist registration with the Medical Council of NZ.
