Adult and Emergency Anaesthesia
Four 12 month fellowships commencing December 2009, with the opportunity to
develop further skills in the following sub-specialities:
* Liver transplant
* Pain management
* Vascular and peri-operative care
* Neurosurgery

Paediatric Anaesthesia and Intensive Care at Starship Children’s Health
Two fellowships starting in December 2009. These are 12 month programmes
with six months in Paediatric Anaesthesia and six months in Paediatric
Intensive Care.

Women’s Health, Anaesthesia, Obstetrics and Gynaecology
Two six month fellowships starting in December 2009 and June 2010
respectively.

Greenlane Dept of Cardiothoracic Anaesthesia
Four fellowships starting in December 2009 and June/December 2010. These are
12 month programmes with six months in Anaesthesia and six months in Cardiac
Intensive Care. This programme offers extensive experience in all aspects of
cardiothoracic anaesthesia and intensive care.

These fellowships are primarily clinical with sessions available for
research and teaching.
All of the above positions are fixed term and would suit those who have
either completed or are nearing the end of their formal anaesthesia training
but are seeking additional structured training in any of the above
specialities. You will be working with highly skilled and innovative
colleagues in state of the art facilities. You will experience the great
outdoors of New Zealand and also enjoy metropolis living in the city which
has been voted the 5th best in the world!
