Lakes District Hospital - Queenstown
Based in stunning Queenstown, the adventure and lifestyle capital of New Zealand, you will be part of the dynamic team of Medical Officers providing medical services for this small hospital.
Surrounded by majestic mountains and nestled on the shores of crystal clear Lake Wakatipu, Queenstown is New Zealand’s premier four season lake and alpine resort.
The Medical team provides 24 hour coverage of the public inpatients, assessment and stabilisation in a Level 2 Emergency Department and manages evacuations to the base hospitals.
You will need to be ideally a minimum of five years post qualified and have a combination of emergency hospital and general practice experience.
