We have a fixed-term, 12 month full-time position based at Auckland City Hospital, a large tertiary and quaternary service, with strong links with the Auckland University’s Medical School. This department provides anaesthesia services for a wide range of surgical departments, including Neurosurgery, Urology, Trauma, Orthopaedics, Vascular, Solid Organ Transplant and Chronic Pain Management.

The department has a sound clinical base and is looking to develop wider interests; therefore we are specifically interested in applicants with a strong interest in Research and Information Technology relevant to anaesthesia and peri-operative medicine.

You must be eligible for vocational registration with the Medical Council of New Zealand.
