NZMA Leadership Fund
The NZMA Leadership Fund aims to support participation by NZMA members, particularly RMOs, trainee interns and medical students, in activities which contribute to leadership skills.
Candidates must:
-
be a current financial member of the NZMA
-
demonstrate how participation in activity will materially enhance their leadership ability or potential. A wide range of activities, including courses, conferences etc, may be considered.
Applications must be submitted before participating in the activity, not retrospectively. Applications can be submitted anytime throughout the year.
Assessment of applications will be on a case-by-case basis and will be carried out by the NZMA Chair, Doctors-in-Training Council Chair, and CEO.
Successful applicants are expected to submit a report detailing how they used their Leadership Fund grant. This report may be later publicised by the NZMA.
To apply, please contact Robyn Fell, or write to NZMA, PO Box 156, Wellington 6140.
